COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State junior forward Drew Fielder has been named the Old Trapper Mountain West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, while Wyoming guard Naz Meyer was tabbed the Old Trapper MW Freshman of the Week.

- Guided Boise State to a 2-0 record last week with wins over Duquesne (86-64) and Saint Mary’s (68-67).
- Averaged 22.5 points and 4.5 rebounds, while shooting 60 percent (18-of-30) from the field in two starts.
- Against the Dukes, recorded 23 points, three boards, two steals and an assist.
- In the victory over the Gaels, registered 22 points and grabbed six rebounds.
MEN’S BASKETBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
MAZ MEYER, WYOMING
Freshman, Guard, Los Angeles, California/New Hampton School
- Helped Wyoming to a 106-79 win over South Dakota.
- Scored a career-high 26 points, the most points scored by a Cowboy freshman since 2021.
- Shot 73.3 percent (11-of-15) from the floor.
- Also recorded seven rebounds, an assist and a steal.
