COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State’s Dani Bayes was tabbed the Old Trapper Mountain West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, while New Mexico’s Tyler Jones was named the Old Trapper MW Freshman of the Week.

DANI BAYES, BOISE STATE
Senior, Guard, Brisbane Australia/Sheridan College
- Led the Broncos to a 91-77 win over UC Davis.
- Registered a career-high 31 points, while shooting 84.6 percent (11-for-13) from the floor, 77.8 percent (7-for-9) from the 3-point line and was perfect at the charity stripe.
- Also contributed five steals, four rebounds and two assists.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
TYLER JONES, NEW MEXICO
Guard, Memphis, Tennessee/Hutchison School
- Helped the Lobos to a 2-0 week with wins over New Orleans (99-65) and in-state rival New Mexico State (77-45).
- Averaged five points, 2.5 rebounds, three assists and two steals per game.
- Against the Privateers, tallied four points, perfect from the free-throw line, two rebounds, two assists and two steals.
- At New Mexico State, logged six points, shot 40 percent from the field and 50 percent from three-point range. Also contributed four assists, three boards and two steals.
