COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – UNLV junior guard Jaden Henley has been named the Mountain West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, while Fresno State’s Brian Amuneke was selected as the MW Men’s Basketball Freshman of the Week.

MEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

JADEN HENLEY, UNLV

Junior, Guard, Ontario, California/DePaul

  • Led UNLV to a pair of wins over San José State (77-71) and Nevada (68-55).
  • Averaged 22.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and four assists per game, while shooting 50 percent from the floor.
  • Against the Spartans, recorded a career-best 22 points, five boards, five assists and four steals.
  • In the win over the Wolf Pack, bested his career high for the second game in a row with 23 points. Also tallied eight rebounds and three assists.

  • Scored 17 points in his third start of the 2024-25 season.
  • Shot 41.7 percent from the field.
