BOISE, Idaho – Boise State gymnastics was named outright Mountain West regular season champions after defeating Air Force 195.800-194.500, Friday night.
The Broncos will conclude their regular season with a 5-1 conference record.
Emily Lopez claimed the vault and bars title, while Emma Loyim was named the beam champion.
The Broncos started the meet off strong on vault, scoring a league-high 49.200. They were led by Lopez as she recorded a 9.900. Julia Krzywanski also scored a 9.850 in her collegiate debut on the event.
Lopez guided the Broncos to a 49.225 team score on bars. She notched a 9.925 on the apparatus, followed by a 9.875 by freshman Kristina Shchennikova.
Boise State earned a 48.500 as a team on beam. Loyim scored a season-best 9.925 to secure the title. The Broncos then put up a 48.875 on floor, with Loyim and Bridget Kemp being the team leaders with a 9.800 each.

- Emily Lopez won the vault and bars title, scoring a 9.900 and 9.925, respectively. This marks her third vault title of the season and 11th of her career, as well as her fifth bars title of the season and 18th of her career.
