Colorado Springs, Colo. – Colorado State senior Cole Nordman has been named the Mountain West Men’s Track Athlete of the Week, while Wyoming senior Daniel Reynolds was tabbed the MW Men’s Field Athlete of the Week and New Mexico’s Collins Kiprotich was named the MW Men’s Freshman of the Week.

New Mexico freshman Pamela Kosgei has been selected as the MW Women’s Track Athlete of the Week, while Air Force freshman Morgan Glaser was named the MW Women’s Field Athlete of the Week. Kosgei and Glaser also share MW Women’s Freshmen of the Week honors.

MEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK 
COLE NORDMAN, COLORADO STATE
Senior, Scottsdale, Arizona/Chaparral HS

  • Won the 55-meter dash at the Wyoming Power Meet, breaking the program record with a time of 6.17.
  • Also won the 55-meter hurdles, finishing 0.02 seconds away from matching the school record with a personal-best time of 7.18.

MEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK 
DANIEL REYNOLDS, WYOMING
Senior, Granby, Colorado/Granby HS/Chadron State

  • Set school, facility and Mountain West records in the weight throw with a mark of 22.89m, winning the event by over three feet at the Wyoming Power Meet.
  • The distance broke the previous records set in 2000 by former Cowboy and Olympian Jason Gervais.
  • Finished third in the shot put with a throw of 16.90m.

MEN’S FRESHMAN ATHLETE OF THE WEEK 
COLLINS KIPROTICH, NEW MEXICO

Freshman, Eldoret, Kenya

  • Finished 21st in the fastest 3,000 meter heat at Boston University’s Sharon Colyear-Danville Open.
  • His time of 7:56.26 ranks No. 21 in the nation, while he is just one of 24 athletes to run under eight minutes this season.

WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE & CO-FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
PAMELA KOSGEI, NEW MEXICO
Freshman, Elgeyo-Marakwet County, Kenya/St. Agatha Mokpo Girls School

  • In first career indoor race, broke New Mexico’s program record and the Mountain West record in the 5,000 meter race with a time of 15:00.36, finishing third at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Open.
  • Broke the previous school record by 14 seconds and was just .37 seconds away from becoming the fourth woman in NCAA history to break the 15-minute barrier in the event.
  • Kosgei and the other three top-four finishers recorded times that rank among the top-five in NCAA history.

WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE & CO-FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
MORGAN GLASER, AIR FORCE
Freshman, La Vista, Nebraska/Papillion La Vista HS

  • Making her collegiate debut, posted a NCAA-leading high jump clearance of 1.81 meters to win the event at the Wyoming Power Meet.
  • Her height beat the field by nearly seven inches and ranks second-best in Air Force history.
  • Broke the Air Force freshman record in the event held by former Falcon All-American Shelley Spires since 2015.
  • Currently ranks No. 1 in the NCAA.
  • Added an eighth-place finish in the 55-meter hurdles (8.59).
