  • The Mountain West has four teams in the top 60 of the NET rankings (as of Dec. 9) and is one of seven conferences (ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, SEC and WCC) that have four or more in the top 60.
  • The MW is 55-38 (.591) in nonconference action in 2024-25, ranking among the top 12 conferences in the nation.

  • The Mountain West has two teams ranked or receiving votes in both national polls. San Diego State is ranked in both polls, while Utah State is receiving votes in both.

  • New Mexico’s Donovan Dent is fourth in the nation in total assists with 75 this season.
  • San Diego State’s Magoon Gwath is fifth in DI men’s basketball in total blocks with 27 in 2024-25.
  • Wyoming’s Jordan Nesbitt has posted six double-doubles this season, which leads the MW and ranks sixth in the nation.
  • Boise State’s Tyson Degenhart opens the 2024-25 season on multiple watch lists. The senior forward has been named to the 2024-25 Jersey Mike’s Naismith Men’s Player of the Year Watch List, the Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year Top 20 Preseason Watch List and the Lute Olson Early Season Watch List.
