TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Fresno State senior wide receiver Mac Dalena was one of three mid-season additions to the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced on Wednesday morning. The Biletnikoff Award recognizes college football’s outstanding FBS receiver, regardless of position.

This season, Dalena has 30 catches for 607 yards and four touchdowns. He leads the team in receiving yards and touchdowns, and is second in receptions. His 20.2 yards per catch also paces the team.

Of Fresno State’s 32 chunk plays this season, 10 have included Dalena. The longest play of his career was a 75-yard touchdown catch on the first play of the game against Sacramento State.

The Fresno, Calif. native is a long-time Bulldog that’s been in the program since 2020. Dalena has spent time on special teams and has earned his spot on the offense. This season already, he has nearly surpassed his career receiving yards in the previous four years combined (696 total before the 2024 season).

Dalena joins New Mexico’s Luke Wysong as additions from the Mountain West to the award’s watch list this week.

Dalena and the Bulldogs return home this Saturday to host San Jose State in the battle for the Valley Trophy. Fresno State will debut its new black uniforms in a Blackout Night at Valley Children’s Stadium. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. PT, and tickets are available here
