LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – For the second time under head coach Lindy La Rocque, UNLV women’s basketball has entered the Associated Press Women’s Basketball Top 25 at No. 23 in today’s release. It’s also the first time this season a Mountain West team has earned a ranking.

Lady Rebels are currently 9-0 to start the season for the first time in over two decades and the first time in the La Rocque era. UNLV collected two huge victories over Power 5 opponents in Arizona and Oklahoma.

UNLV came into this season receiving votes in both the USA Today Coaches’ and Associated Press Top 25 Preseason Polls and have continued to receive notes thus far through the season. The Lady Rebels have been predicted to win the MW league title for the third straight year.

Last season, the Lady Rebels notched their first ranking since 1994 coming in at No. 23 in the AP Poll on Feb. 13, 2023, which was the program’s highest rank since 1993.

UNLV will close out the non-conference slate with an East Coast road trip first visiting Seton Hall on Saturday, Dec. 16 with tip-off scheduled for 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET.
