MAYAGÜEZ, Puerto Rico – San José State’s Cameron Tarver will represent team USA this weekend at the U20 Pan American Games. He will compete in the 100 and 200-meter dashes, as well as the 4×100 relay.

  • Tarver was both Indoor and Outdoor All-Mountain West in his freshman season.

2023 OUTDOOR SEASON:

  • Finished second in 200m at MW Championships with career-best 20.74
  • Was part of 4×100 team that won MW Championships in 39.76
  • Ran career best 10.42 in 100m at MW Championships to finish third
  • Was part of 4×400 team that finished second at MW Championships with 3:09.49
  • Was part of 4×100 team that finished first at Fresno St. Invite (39.86), Mt. Sac Relays (39.99) and Mangrum Invitational (40.39)
  • Won 100m at Mangrum Invitational with a time of 10.55
  • Was part of 4×400 team that won Mangrum Invitational in 3:14.16
  • Won 200m at Cardinal Classic with a time of 20.77

2023 INDOOR SEASON:

  • Won 200m at MW Championships with a time of 20.87
  • Finished third in the 200m at the New Mexico Team Open (21.48)
