LAS VEGAS – Colorado College rookie forward Ella Ashouri has been named Mountain West Offensive Player and Freshman of the Week, while Wyoming senior goalkeeper Haley Bartel was selected as the MW Defensive Player of the Week.

• Led Colorado College to a 2-0-0 record to open the 2026 season with wins over Creighton (3-1) and Drake (1-0).
• Recorded three goals and an assist for seven points in her debut with the Tigers.
• Started both of Colorado College’s matches, playing a total of 106 minutes on the pitch.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
HALEY BARTEL, WYOMING
Senior, Goalkeeper, Prior Lake, Minnesota/Highland HS

• Helped Wyoming start the 2026 campaign with a 2-0-0 record with victories over Drake (1-0) and at Northern Colorado (3-0).
• Played all 180 minutes in the net, earning a pair of shutouts.
• Recorded four saves in two starts.
