LAS VEGAS – UTEP sophomore midfielder Zeta McDannels has been named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week, while UC Davis sophomore Kiley Fehrenbacher was selected as the MW Defensive Player of the Week. UTEP newcomer Haylee Lancaster has been tabbed the MW Women’s Soccer Freshman of the Week.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Sophomore, Midfielder, Lubbock, Texas/Frenship HS

• Led UTEP to a pair of wins over UTRGV (2-1) and Texas A&M Corpus Christi (2-1).
• Scored three of the Miners’ four goals for six points in two starts.
• Netted a brace against UTRGV, including the game-winning goal.
• Tallied three shots on goal in 163 minutes of action on the pitch.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KILEY FEHRENBACHER, UC DAVIS
Sophomore, Defender, San Diego, California/Point Loma HS

• Guided UC Davis to a 0-0 draw at LMU.
• Anchored the Aggies’ backline that posted a shutout.
• Limited the Lions to four shots on goal.

 
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
HAYLEE LANCASTER, UTEP
Forward, Odessa, Texas/Permian HS

• Helped UTEP to a pair of wins over UTRGV (2-1) and Texas A&M Corpus Christi (2-1).
• Recorded a goal and an assist for three points in 109 minutes of work on the pitch.
• Assisted the game-winning goal against UTRGV.
• Scored the game-winning goal against Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
