The Mountain West Availability Reporting Policy standardizes student-athlete availability reporting  to promote competitive integrity, transparency, student-athlete privacy, and public confidence. The policy applies for the 2026-27 football, men's basketball and women's basketball seasons and will be utilized during all Conference regular-season games and the Mountain West Championships.

The Mountain West Conference will publicly provide player availability reports on TheMW.com. Approved by all member institutions, the policy will include an initial update prior to gameday, as well as a final gameday report prior to kickoff or tip-off.
