Dominic Kelley has been tabbed as the MW Offensive Player of the Week, while UNLV sophomore safety
Tre Fulton was named MW Defensive Player of the Week. San José State junior placekicker
Trajan Sinatra earned MW Special Teams Player of the Week honors, while UNLV defensive end
Kal-El Togafau was selected as MW Freshman of the Week.
It is the first career MW weekly honor for all four winners.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DOMINIC KELLEY, NEVADA
Sophomore, Running Back, Concord, California / De La Salle HS
- Rushed for a career-high 152 yards and two touchdowns on just 11 carries in Nevada’s 49-14 victory over Western Kentucky.
- Averaged 13.8 yards per attempt.
- Scored a 72-yard touchdown on the second play from scrimmage before scoring a one-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.
- The 152 rushing yards were the most by a Wolf Pack player since 2015.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
TRE FULTON, UNLV
Sophomore, Safety, Bakersfield, California / Liberty HS
- Recorded 12 tackles, which was tied for the game high in the Rebels’ 21-6 victory at Hawai‘i.
- Also had a sack, a forced fumble and a pass breakup.
- In the third quarter, with Hawai‘i facing a third-and-goal, broke up a pass that would have been a touchdown.
- Led a defense that limited the Rainbow Warriors to just six points, the fewest points allowed on the road by the Rebels since 2003.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
TRAJAN SINATRA, SAN JOSÉ STATE
Junior, Placekicker, San Jose, California / Idaho State
- In San José State’s 27-21 road victory at Eastern Michigan, kicked a perfect five-for-five, including two field goals and three PATs.
- Made field goals of 45 and 49 yards.
- The 49-yard field goal came with just 1:37 left in the game, pushing the Spartans’ lead to six.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
KAL-EL TOGAFAU, UNLV
Defensive End, Rancho Cucamonga, California / Rancho Cucamonga HS
- In just his second career start, tallied a game-high two sacks in UNLV’s 21-6 win at Hawai‘i.
- Sacks produced losses of two and six yards.
- The six-yard sack came on third-and-goal, forcing the Rainbow Warriors to kick a field goal.
