Old Trapper Mountain West Women's Volleyball Players of the Week - Sept. 21

LAS VEGAS – The Mountain West announced the Old Trapper Women’s Volleyball Players of the Week today following week three of the 2026 season. Hawai’i’s drianna Arquette was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week, while Nevada’s Masyn Navarro was tabbed the MW Defensive Player of the Week. Wyoming’s Rylee Heinz collected the MW Freshman of the Week honor.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ADRIANNA ARQUETTE, HAWAI’I
Junior, Setter, Kailua, O’ahu/Kamehameha Schools-Kapalama
  • Led the Rainbow Wahine to a 2-1 week with wins over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3-0) and Iowa State (3-2) and a loss to UCLA (2-3) at the Lucky Aces Women’s Volleyball Invitational, where the setter was named to the all-tournament team.
  • Across 15 sets of action, tallied 120 assists, 9.23 assists per set, six kills and two service aces. 
  • In the sweep over the Islanders, notched 33 assists with a .532 efficiency and two kills. 
  • Against the Cyclones, recorded 40 assists, two kills and two service aces. 
  • Against then-receiving votes UCLA, logged 47 assists and two kills. 
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER/FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
MASYN NAVARRO, NEVADA
Senior, Libero/Defensive Specialist, Carson City, Nevada/Eastern Illinois
  • Guided the Wolf Pack 2-1 week on the road with wins over Eastern Washington (3-1) and CSU Bakersfield (3-2) and a loss to Portland (2-3). 
  • Registered 61 digs across 14 sets of play and a .911 reception percentage on 56 attempts. 
  • At Eastern Washington, collected a career-high 23 digs and a .900 reception percentage. 
  • Against Portland, notched 15 digs and a .909 reception percentage. 
  • Against the Road-Runners, logged 23 dig and a .929 reception percentage. 
 
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
RYLEE HEINZ, WYOMING
Middle Blocker, Rocklin, California/Rocklin HS
  • Helped the Cowgirls to a 3-0 week with wins over Boise State (3-2), Idaho State (3-0) and Pacific (3-1) at the Orange & Black Classic in Pocatello, Idaho. 
  • Totaled 30 kills, a .857 reception percentage, 13 blocks and two digs for the Pokes. 
  • Against the Broncos, logged seven kills and four blocks. 
  • At Idaho State, tallied 11 kills on a .409 attack efficiency and three blocks. 
  • Against the Tigers, registered 12 kills and a career-high six blocks.
