LAS VEGAS – The Old Trapper Mountain West Football Players of the Week for games played in Week 3 were announced on Monday. North Dakota State junior wide receiver Jackson Williams has been tabbed as the MW Offensive Player of the Week, while Bison senior safety Darius Givance was named MW Defensive Player of the Week. New Mexico senior placekicker Grant Glasgow earned MW Special Teams Player of the Week honors, while North Dakota State linebacker Gavin Sell was selected as MW Freshman of the Week.
It is the first career MW weekly honor for all four student-athletes.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JACKSON WILLIAMS, NORTH DAKOTA STATE
Junior, Wide Receiver, Omaha, Nebraska / Millard West HS

• Helped North Dakota State earn its fourth straight victory, defeating Sacramento State on the road, 31-10.
• Caught a career-high seven passes for 134 yards and one touchdown.
• Opened the scoring for the Bison early in the first quarter with a 33-yard touchdown catch.
• Four of his seven catches went for 20-plus yards.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DARIUS GIVANCE, NORTH DAKOTA STATE
Senior, Safety, Champlin, Minnesota / Champlin Park HS

• Led North Dakota State with seven tackles, including six solo stops, and recovered one fumble, returning it 24 yards for his first career touchdown.
• The seven tackles tied a career high.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
GRANT GLASGOW, NEW MEXICO
Senior, Placekicker, Lawrence, Kansas / Montana

• Connected on a pair of field goals in New Mexico’s game at nationally ranked Oklahoma.
• Made field goals of 24 and 42 yards, accounting for all of the Lobos’ points.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
GAVIN SELL, NORTH DAKOTA STATE
Linebacker, Woodville, Wisconsin / Baldwin-Woodville HS

• Tied his season high with six tackles in the Bison’s 31-10 road victory at Sacramento State.
• Forced a fumble on Sacramento State’s opening drive, leading to a scoop-and-score to give NDSU a 14-0 lead.
