Isabella Umpierre was tabbed the Mountain West Offensive Player and Co-Freshman of the Week, while Air Force cadet
Ella Vogel was named the MW Defensive Player and Co-Freshman of the Week.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER/FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
ISABELLA UMPIERRE, UC DAVIS
Freshman, Opposite, Windermere, Florida/Lake Highland Prep
- Led the Aggies to a road win over then-No. 7 Arizona State (3-1), marking the programs highest ranked victory. The Blue and Gold also posted losses to San Diego and then-No. 24 Oregon.
- Amassed 40 kills across 12 sets of action, six assists and two service aces.
- At No. 7 Arizona State, registered 17 kills, six digs, four assists, two blocks and one service ace.
- Against San Diego, tallied a double-double with a career-high 19 digs and 13 kills. Additionally, contributed four blocks and two assists.
- Against No. 24 Oregon, recorded 10 kills, eight digs, one block and one service ace.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER/FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
ELLA VOGEL, AIR FORCE
Freshman, Defensive Specialist/Libero, Aurora, Colorado/Chapparal HS
- Guided the Falcons to a 2-1 week with wins over Little Rock (3-0) and Tennessee Tech (3-1), and a loss to Idaho State (0-3).
- Totaled 47 digs, a .980 reception percentage on 50 attempts and 11 assists.
- Against Little Rock, logged 12 digs and four assists.
- Against Tennessee Tech, posted 18 digs and three assists.
- Against Idaho State, notched 17 digs and four assists.
