LAS VEGAS – UNLV forward Maxim Scordo has been named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week, while teammate Hugo Lemos was selected as the MW Defensive Player of the Week. Grand Canyon newcomer Arnau Camaño has been tabbed the MW Freshman of the Week.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MAXIM SCORDO, UNLV
Sophomore, Forward, Newport Beach, California/Dayton

• Led UNLV to a pair of victories over UC San Diego (1-0) and UC Irvine (2-0).
• Recorded a goal and an assist for three points in two starts.
• Scored the game-winning goal and assisted the second goal against the Anteaters.

 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
HUGO LEMOS, UNLV
Senior, Goalkeeper, A Coruna, Spain/ RC Deportivo de la Coruña

• Helped UNLV to a pair of victories over UC San Diego (1-0) and UC Irvine (2-0).
• Posted back-to-back shutouts after two starts in goal.
• Tallied 10 saves in 180 minutes of action, including a season-high six saves against UCSD.

 
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
ARNAU CAMAÑO, GRAND CANYON
Forward, Tona, Spain/UE Tona

• Totaled 141 minutes of action and two starts against Houston Christian and nationally ranked UC Santa Barabara.
• Recorded a goal for two points against the Gauchos.
• Totaled two shots on goal.
