FORT COLLINS – Colorado State women’s golf sophomore Kara Kaneshiro wrapped up the 2025 NCAA Regional round in Lubbock, Texas Tuesday afternoon notching a top-20 finish to end her season. Kaneshiro competed in three rounds at The Rawls Course finishing five over par overall on the tournament. While Kara will not be advancing onto the NCAA Championships, a top-20 finish among the regional and ending the tournament with a five under par third round, the sophomore finishes her season on a high note.
Round One: +4 (+4)
- Kara finished her opening round playing four over par.
- She totaled two birdies on the day including one in her second hole of competition.
- She finishes the day standing tied for third among individual competitors and tied for 19th overall.
Round Two: +10 (+6)
- Kara finished her second round playing six over par.
- She totaled one birdie on the day on a day on light rain and moderate winds in Lubbock.
- She finished the day holding third among individuals but falling to 36th overall in the standings.
Round Three: +5 (-5)
- Kara finished her third round playing five under par.
- She totaled five birdies on the round playing par on the remaining 13 holes.
- She finished the tournament tied for 19th overall and sixth among non-qualifying team individuals.
