COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West has announced the Men’s Tennis All-Tournament Team, as selected by the league’s seven head coaches. The team recognizes student-athletes who competed in the majority of the conference tournament at the position for which they were selected. This year’s All-Tournament Team features representatives from Boise State, New Mexico and Utah State.

Three standout performers from New Mexico’s championship team were honored on the All-Tournament Team in singles. At No. 1 singles, Aram Noroozian posted a 2-1 record for the week, while teammate Daniil Kakhniuk went undefeated at No. 5 singles. Stepping up in crucial moments, the No. 6 singles player Avery Tallakson earned the MVP honor for his standout performance on the week.

Utah State’s Mohammad Alkotop was recognized at No. 2 singles and teammate David Martirosian received All-Tournament honors at No. 3 doubles.

New Mexico also excelled in doubles play. Noroozian and Georgio Samaha secured the No. 1 doubles spot, while Aditya Balsekar and Tallakson earned recognition at No. 3 doubles. Boise State’s duo of Taiyo Kurata and Julius Seifert rounded out the double’s teams with the No. 2 spot.
