BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State women’s tennis team will travel to Austin, Texas, to face Baylor in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Team Championship, the NCAA announced during its selection show on Monday.
After winning its first Mountain West Championship in program history, Boise State (20-5) will take on Baylor (20-5) on Friday, May 2 at 9 a.m. MT. The match will be hosted by No. 14 seed Texas who opens against Grand Canyon.
Boise State enters the tournament on a nine-match winning streak and became the first team seeded No. 4 or lower to win the Mountain West title since 2010.
The Broncos will make their eighth overall NCAA Tournament appearance and first since 2010, when they defeated Iowa 4-1 in the first round before falling to Notre Dame 4-0 in the second.
The NCAA first and second rounds will be held May 2-3, followed by Super Regionals from May 9-11. The NCAA Women’s Team Championship will take place at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas, from May 15-18.
