COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State guard Nique Clifford has been named the Mountain West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, while Fresno State’s Elijah Price was selected as the MW Men’s Basketball Freshman of the Week.

MEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

NIQUE CLIFFORD, COLORADO STATE

Senior, Guard, Colorado Springs, Colorado/Colorado

  • Led Colorado State to a pair of wins over San José State (83-56) and Boise State (83-73).
  • Averaged 25.5 points, five rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game, while shooting 70.4 percent from the floor.
  • Against the Spartans, recorded 15 points, six boards and six assists.
  • In the win over the Broncos, tallied a career-high 36 points, four rebounds and three assists. Connected on 72.2 percent of attempts from the field.

  • Averaged a double-double with 14.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 40 percent from the field.
  • Against Wyoming, totaled 16 points and 13 boards.
  • At San José State, registered 13 points and 10 boards.
