COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – UNLV senior Caden Fioroni has been named the Mountain West Men’s Golfer of the Week. There is no MW Freshman of the Week selection this week.

The MW honor is the fourth of Fioroni’s career.

  • Won the Rebels’ Southern Highlands Collegiate in Las Vegas with a 9-under-par 207.
  • Opened with consecutive rounds of 5-under 67 in windy conditions en route to the wire-to-wire win, his first collegiate victory.
  • Recorded 12 birdies, including 11 over his first two rounds.
  • Helped UNLV to a second-place finish behind new No. 1 Auburn in a field the featured nine top-25 squads.
  • Jumped 53 spots in the Scoreboard Powered by Clippd national rankings to No. 18 this week and helped the Rebels leap 15 spots to No. 16.
