COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State swept the Mountain West women’s soccer weekly honors after senior forward Carly Cross was named MW Offensive Player of the Week and senior goalkeeper Genevieve Crenshaw was selected as the MW Defensive Player of the Week. Bronco teammate Jillian Anderson was tabbed the MW Freshman of the Week.

This marks the third weekly honor for Anderson this season, second for Crenshaw and first for Cross in 2024.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

CARLY CROSS, BOISE STATE

Senior, Forward, Anaheim, California/Canyon HS

  • Led Boise State to a pair of wins over Nevada (2-0) and UNLV (2-0) as Boise State claimed a share of the MW regular-season title.
  • Recorded two goals for four points in two starts.
  • Scored the game-winning goal against Nevada. Also tallied three shots.
  • Registered her second goal of the weekend against UNLV. Logged 11 shots, including four shots on goal.

 

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

GENEVIEVE CRENSHAW, BOISE STATE

Senior, Goalkeeper, Cypress, California/Cypress HS

  • Helped Boise State to a pair of wins over Nevada (2-0) and UNLV (2-0) as Boise State claimed a share of the MW regular-season title.
  • Recorded back-to-back shutouts in 180 minutes of action in goal.
  • Totaled nine saves, including seven saves against the Wolf Pack.

 

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

JILLIAN ANDERSON, BOISE STATE

Midfielder, Allen, Texas/Allen HS

  • Guided Boise State to a pair of wins over Nevada (2-0) and UNLV (2-0) as Boise State claimed a share of the MW regular-season title.
  • Assisted three of Boise State’s four goals for three points in two starts.
  • Recorded two assists against the Wolf Pack, marking the second time this season that a Bronco had a multi-assist match.
