MW Men's Golfer of the Week - March 21

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – UNLV senior Yuki Moriyama has been named the Mountain West Men’s Golfer of the Week.

The weekly honor is the second of Moriyama’s career and first since April 13, 2023.

GOLFER OF THE WEEK
YUKI MORIYAMA, UNLV
Senior, Kanagawa, Japan/American Heritage Academy (Las Vegas, Nevada)
• Won the All-American Collegiate at the Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas.
• Shot a 5-under-par 211, opening with a 5-under 67 and closing with a 1-under 71, to finish in a tie for first. Birdied the first playoff hole for this first career victory.
• Helped UNLV to a fourth-place finish in the 20-team field, which included eight teams ranked in the top 100 and three in the top 50 nationally.
• Led the Rebels to their seventh top-10 finish of the spring.
